Bio: Individuals in the roles of guardian, conservator, or power of attorney are directly responsible and liable for the well-being of their dependents. Most of these fiduciary caregivers are new to the role and lack the tools and resources to effectively fulfill their duties. They also usually lack the means to engage counsel to help them every step of the way. It is one of life’s major transitional moments; legally managing the care of another.
