JTA x Anthropic
JTA has joined Anthropic's launch of Claude solutions for legal as an Access to Justice partner, clearing the way for ethical tech to help individuals navigate the justice system and marking a critical milestone for the justice tech movement.
A Direct Path to the Communities You Serve
For justice tech founders, this partnership creates a direct path to Claude's users. Through Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors, your tools integrate with Claude and extend what you can do for the people you serve.
If you're building solutions that help individuals navigate legal problems without a lawyer, a Claude integration lets your users ask questions in Claude and get answers grounded in your verified data or guided by your domain expertise.
JTA Members Building with Claude
Three JTA members are participating in the launch of Claude solutions for legal:

BoardWise
BoardWise's connector brings occupational licensing guidance into Claude, expanding access to educational support for professionals navigating board matters. When licensed professionals face inquiries, BoardWise helps demystify the process and provide the guidance they need.
Courtroom5
Courtroom5's integration with Claude provides case assessment, a deadline calculator, and next-step guidance for civil claims for pro se litigants. Users can ask Claude about their specific case and receive grounded, easy-to-follow step-by-step guidance.

Descrybe
Descrybe's connector brings a verified legal data layer to Claude, putting professional-grade legal research and reasoning within reach for everyone who needs it. Complex legal information becomes accessible and actionable for those without legal training.
The Opportunity and the Risk
When 92% of people with civil legal problems receive no legal assistance, it was inevitable consumers would turn to AI for assistance, as AI usage within law firms and the courts has steadily increased.
There is a real risk that as AI reshapes the legal industry, efficiency gains could accrue primarily to well-resourced firms and enterprise clients, leaving the millions of unrepresented people further behind.
JTA was founded on the premise that technology should close the justice gap, not widen it.
