Justice Tech is increasingly capturing the attention of those in the legal and investment spaces. A recent Thomson Reuters Institute piece featured the Village Capital and AmFam Institute effort to mobilize informed capital into the nascent sector with substantive content and a justice tech fellowship to nurture startups with a mission to address the access to justice gap.
The Justice Technology Association’s groundbreaking role in shaping the ecosystem was also highlighted in the article, which noted that the JTA “builds awareness among innovators, technologists and venture capitalists of the opportunity presented by justice tech… to disrupt antiquated legal systems.” Our ED Maya Markovich stated, “This space is exploding in a way that we saw in legal tech fiv years ago – but faster.”
